The weather is still a little sketchy and we have decided to stay put for another day. With dime size hail, potential tornados, basically nasty weather, we opt for another day in Pompano Beach. I spend the morning correcting issues with Beth’s computer, none of the DVD / CD / music and other features work since Richard used the computer. I back up all the essential information (which was already backed up, but I do it again) and restore her computer to the factory settings. After all the updates are installed, things work again, and I add all the photos, music and movies back.
In the afternoon, we walk on the beach for a couple of miles. I keep looking at the ocean hoping for some semblance of a wave that I can ride. In the 4 miles that we walked, I see maybe 2 waves that are rideable. (Beth always says, “you bring that board and never use it”, which for the most part is true. But the reality is that if I leave it home, there will be waves and more waves!!!) On our walk we found some interesting shells and coral.
Back at the boat we shower and go for pizza at a place we found the other night. The pizza is not bad, but not like NJ / NY. We order a cheese with peppers, and it comes with red, yellow and green peppers.
