Day 2 - 1/3/11

What a change from yesterday.  It was in the 50's as we donned sweat shirts, wind breakers and pants.  Yesterday was T shirts and shorts.  Got underway this morning after 8.  Pulled the anchor from its muddy bottom and spent a good 10 minutes cleaning the chain before stowing it in the locker.  Motored south to the Adison Point bridge where they were dredging the channel.  Interesting time passing by the dredge and the wall with the wind and waves pushing the boat everywhere.

Saw several dolphins again playing in the channel.  Some came by and gave us a look as we motored on.

Fairly uneventful journey, which is the way we like it, until we tried to find a place to anchor for the night.  Tried to get into this one area, but even with our shllow draft, I felt that the water was just too skinny.  We eventually anchored in 5 feet of water about a mile from the Wabassoo bridge.  As you can see it was still chilly when we anchored for the night!!!
